As Cricket gets faster and faster in nature each day, with strike rates going up in every format, the question of which format reigns supreme has sparked a heated debate among the sport's pundits. The rise of T20 leagues worldwide has only added fuel to the fire.

Cricket veteran and ex-coach of the Indian Cricket Team, Ravi Shastri recently opined during his commentary that, ODIs can be reduced from 50 to 40 overs. Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has also suggested changes to the ODI format.
