Viswanathan Anand vs Wesley So | Round 3 - Levitov Chess Week 2023
After making two draws with GM Peter Svidler and GM Shakhiryar Mamedyarov in the first two rounds of Levitov Chess Week, Vishy Anand played a beautiful game in the third round against Wesley So and won the game after just 24 moves.
Anand playing with the white pieces kept attacking by sacrificing his Knight on c3 square on the 19th move. It continued with another exchange sacrifice on 21st move by giving away his rook on g1 for the opponent's Bishop, and ultimately sacrificed his queen on move 23. However, the attack was so strong that Wesley resigned after the next move.
